Publication Categories

These categories recognize excellence in annual reports, brochures, marketing and sales kits, newsletters, house organs (corporate magazines), and other publications issued since 1 January 2024.
Nominations that won in the 2025 International Business Awards® may be resubmitted for consideration in the 2026 awards. If they have been updated with recent achievements, they may be submitted to the same categories in which they won. If they have not been updated, they must be submitted to categories different from those in which they won. For sites and blogs of all types within these industry groupings.

Information to be submitted online for entries in these categories in the 2026 competition include:

1. The publication in electronic form, as an attachment or a URL, which you must attach to your entry through our attachment/link uploading tool

2. Written answers to the following questions, describing the nominated achievements:
a. The date on which this nominated publication was first distributed or otherwise made public. Required
b. Briefly describe this entry’s communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 1,500 characters). Required
c. List the appropriate creative and production credits for this entry (up to 1,500 characters). Optional
d. Reference any attachments of supporting materials throughout this nomination and how they provide evidence of the claims you have made in this nomination (up to 1,500 characters). Optional

3. Optional (but highly recommended), add to your entry up to 10 webpage links and up to 10 document uploads to support your case to the judges. These might be press articles, press releases, videos, work samples, internal or external reviews, or employee feedback, for example.

All books published by persons or organizations since 1 January 2024, dealing with a subject related to business - finance, careers, professional education, training, business journalism, corporate history, personal growth, etc. - are eligible to be nominated.

All e-books published by persons or organizations since 1 January 2024, dealing with a subject related to business - finance, careers, professional education, training, business journalism, corporate history, personal growth, etc. - are eligible to be nominated.

N06. Best Interactive Digital Publication (New for 2026)
Recognizes excellence in interactive publications designed primarily for digital use—such as multimedia-rich e-brochures, microsites, or mobile-optimized publications.

N07. Best Marketing or Sales Brochure or Kit

N10. Best Practical Guide or Playbook (New for 2026)
Recognizes publications that provide step-by-step guidance, frameworks, or toolkits to help readers execute specific business tasks or strategies, such as implementation guides, playbooks, handbooks, or operational manuals intended for external use. Entries should describe the target audience, structure of the guide, how it is used in practice, and evidence of its effectiveness or adoption.

N11. Best Sustainability Report (New for 2026)
Recognizes annual or stand-alone sustainability/ESG reports that highlight an organization's environmental, social, and governance initiatives. Entries may include print or digital reports published since 1 January 2024.

N12. Best Thought Leadership Publication Series (New for 2026)
Recognizes ongoing external publications that position an organization or individual as a thought leader in its field. Eligible entries may include recurring reports, insight bulletins, trend outlooks, industry barometers, or similar multi-issue publications aimed at customers, partners, investors, or the wider market. Entries should describe the target audience, editorial concept, frequency, and how the series supports reputation, influence, or decision-making, as well as evidence of reach and impact.
