Chief Marketing and Experience Officer
Jed Estanislao is a seasoned marketing and communications executive from Manila, Philippines, with over two decades of experience in brand strategy, customer experience, and digital transformation. As the Chief Marketing & Experience Officer of Eastern Communications, he has played a pivotal role in redefining the company’s brand and strengthening its position as one of the Philippines’ leading telecommunications and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) providers. Under his leadership, Eastern has earned recognition from prestigious local and international industry organizations for impactful campaigns, customer centric initiatives, and innovative brand programs. A strong advocate for technology with purpose, Jed champions a people-first approach to digital transformation, where innovation is guided by empathy, trust, and genuine human connection. He believes successful brands are built not only through technology and scale, but also through authentic relationships and experiences that genuinely resonate with customers. Through strategic marketing, CX innovation, and data-driven engagement, he continues to lead initiatives that deliver seamless, responsive, and relevant experiences for Filipino businesses and consumers. Driven by the goal of helping improve the country’s global competitiveness, Jed fosters a culture of collaboration, creativity, and forward-thinking innovation. His leadership extends beyond traditional marketing and focuses on building enduring customer journeys and meaningful business partnerships across industries and communities. Jed also leads Eastern’s thought leadership, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Recognizing the need for accessible mentorship and practical business guidance outside major urban centers, he spearheaded From Boardroom to Business, a two part digital thought leadership platform designed to humanize entrepreneurship across Eastern’s growing nationwide footprint. The initiative includes Notes from the Boardroom, which features insights from business leaders and executives, and Business & Tsismis (“gossip”), a conversational video podcast tailored for SMEs and regional entrepreneurs. Together, these platforms strengthen Eastern’s credibility as a trusted business partner while driving audience growth. Under his direction, Eastern also launched the Thoughts on Tech video podcast, a public education platform that simplifies complex technology and digital transformation topics into relatable, accessible conversations for everyday audiences. Through insightful discussions with industry leaders and experts, the platform empowers businesses, communities, and ordinary citizens to better understand emerging technologies and embrace the future of digital innovation. Another initiative Jed proudly highlights is Project Maasahan, a multi-year program of Eastern Communications in partnership with unconnected.org and the Department of Education (DepED). Focused on bridging the digital divide, the program delivers high-speed connectivity and digital literacy support to schools in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA) across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. As of 2026, the initiative has successfully connected and equipped 10 underserved school sites with fully operational satellite internet devices, empowering students and educators through access to digital opportunities. Jed earned his undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University and completed his Master’s in Business Administration at University of the Philippines. He is also a certified Project Manager, Digital Marketing Professional, Crisis Communications Planner, and MICE Professional Events Manager. Outside of work, Jed is a passionate art toy collector and an avid supporter of Filipino artists, actively promoting the local art and design community.
